On the second Thursday of every month, Theatre on the Edge presents “The Big Game”. It’s a format that involves a whole lot of improvisors on stage in a friendly competition. We draw their names to determine who performs next, and after each scene we get the audience to give it a score based on their applause. Everyone in the scene gets that score added to their total.
After everyone’s been up twice, the players with the highest total scores move on to the next round.
This continues until we have just one improvisor left at the end of the evening, who is declared the winner of the Big Game! They take home the coveted “Yes, Anderson” trophy, and get to come back to defend their title the following month.
