Kevin Magri

Kevin S. Magri has performed with Theatre on the Edge since 2003. He
sometimes operates the lights, manages the front-of-house, or hosts
the show; otherwise, he acts on stage or provides musical
accompaniment on flute or piano. On special occasions, he is one-half
of the German Synth-Pop duo Kevin und Kevin.
Kevin also performs regularly with the Mysterious Players
dinner-theatre troupe in Aberfoyle and across the province
(http://mysteriousplayers.com/).

He performed in the award-winning production of As Bees in Honey Drown
with the Cambridge Community Players
(http://www.cambridgecommunityplayers.com/), and in the Royal Medieval
Faire (http://www.royalmedievalfaire.org/). In addition to performing
in various shows with the Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre
(http://kwlt.org/), he has sat on the Board
of Directors for the Kitchener-Waterloo Improv Festival.

In high-school, he contributed as writer and performer to the ensemble
play I Live in a Little Town which was invited to perform at the Sears
Ontario Drama Festival Showcase. (Fun fact: the little-known Canadian
actor Rachel McAdams was a co-performer.)

Outside of theatre, Kevin worked as

* an academic researcher of literature and literary history
* a university lecturer, a college professor, and a French/English teacher
* an editor and writer.

He currently works in the home furnishings business.
