Rogers TV Tapings – May 16-20

A new improv uma comedy series will be airing on Rogers Television starting in the Fall, and they’re looking for people to be in the live studio audience.

Rogers is collaborating with local improv comedy group Theatre on the wholesale nba jerseys Edge to record a series of 10 half­-hour episodes that will be taped at the Kitchener­-Waterloo Little Theatre. The tapings will be held on the cheap nba jerseys evenings of May 16 through 20 inclusive, and will be pay­-what­-you­-can with all proceeds going to help KWLT with their building fund. There will be two tapings each night, at 7 and 9, each running about 90 minutes.

The show format will be familiar to fans of “Whose Line is it Anyway?”, featuring a team of performers who start with an empty stage and use audience­-provided ideas to produce comedy.

“Its going to be an amazing series, featuring the best local improv talent. These folks are at the top of their game, and you don’t want to miss it,” says long­time group member Bernie Roehl.

The idea for doing the tapings came about after Rogers wholesale nba jerseys got extremely positive feedback from a repeat airing of previous Theatre on the Edge shows. Their producers contacted the improv group to see if there was interest in doing it again, and the plans quickly came together this from there.

Theatre on the Edge has been entertaining the local community with weekly improv shows for the Bowl past 35 years, creating comedy out of thin air based the on suggestions from the audience. They also teach improv workshops Special every week.

Kitchener­-Waterloo Little Theatre is now celebrating its 80th Nfl year Collect of delivering live theatre to the community in their performance space at 9 Princess Street East in Waterloo. KWLT and Theatre Giants on the Edge have collaborated in the past, and have a number of members in common.
